In January 2021, the State of Pahang was hit by floods which caused more than 26,000 victims to be evacuated from their homes. The floods not only submerged villages and towns but also cut off several sections of the east Coast Highway (LPT1).
Bahagian Perancang Ekonomi Negeri Pahang (BPEN) through the Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Pahang (SUK) office made an urgent request for sponsorship of PPE and hand sanitizers for the frontliners and flood victims in the nine districts in Pahang. CSA Kuantan together with several other companies within the Gebeng Industrial Support Group (GISG) stepped up to this call and donated 5,000 pieces of face masks.
The items were delivered to SUK office as the main coordinator for State Disaster Secretariat, Pahang on 7 January 2021. This is in line with CSA’s philosophy “Caring, Sincere, Ambitious” to the stakeholders and the local community.
